Historical review of cosmetics and cosmetology, role of cosmetology and cosmetic products, categories of cosmetic products and evaluation of particular categories, including packaging and advertising, quality control and evaluation , development of cosmetic products, scientific background, technology, trends, natural and organic cosmetics, regulation and legislation of cosmetic products in EU and Slovenia, adaptation of regulation to technical progress, professional cosmetic associations, differentiation between cosmetics and familiar products such as medicines, medicinal devices and food supplements, cosmeceuticals.
