Assist. Anže Zidar graduated from Gimnazija Bežigrad in 2013 and was subsequently enrolled at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Pharmacy (UL FFA) for a Uniform Master in Pharmacy. During his studies he was actively involved in the Slovenian Association of Pharmacy Students and in the Student Council of the Faculty of Pharmacy, where he was elected to several leading positions. He conducted research for a master's thesis under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Matjaž Jeras in the Department of Clinical Biochemistry. He graduated cum laude in August 2019. In the same year, he also enrolled in the PhD programme in Biomedicine and obtained a position at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, as an assistant in the field of pharmaceutical technology. He is doing his PhD on the topic of immune safety of nanofibers under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Julijana Kristl. He is currently employed at UL FFA as an assistant in Pharmaceutical Technology.
