Ana Dolšak enrolled at Faculty of Pharmacy in 2012 and successfully graduated under supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Matej Sova in 2017 with thesis "Design, synthesis and evaluation of inhibitors of monoamine oxidases A and B with 1-(prop-2-yn-1-yl)piperidine scaffold". In the same year she started her postgraduate studies and become employed as a young researcher at The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. In 2021 she successfully defended her PhD thesis "Structure based design, synthesis and evaluation of novel indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase inhibitors and Toll-like receptors 7 and 8 modulators" under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Matej Sova. Her field of research is development of novel small molecule immunomodulators targeting Toll-like receptors and Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase. |
