Igor Locatelli was born in 1979 in Nova Gorica. In 2002 he graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ljubljana, where he has been working since 2003. He completed the postgraduate studies in Biomedicine at the University of Ljubljana in 2008, when he defended his PhD thesis in clinical pharmacokinetics, which he had prepared under the supervision of Professor Iztok Grabnar. Between 2002 and 2010 he worked as a researcher within the Department of Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics, where he was involved in the evaluation of pharmacokinetic and statistical models for the analysis of data from preclinical studies and clinical trials. In 2010, he moved to the Department of Social Pharmacy. Since then, his research work has included studies in pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacoeconomics with a focus on meta-analysis of clinical trials results. |
