Photon correlation spectroscopy and laser Doppler electrophoresis (Zetasizer Nano ZS)

Equipment is available at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Aškerčeva 7, 1000 Ljubljana Public access to the equipment is not forseen. In any case one has to agree the details of an eventual access with its superviser which has to be present through whole agreed working time on the equipment.

Intended Purpose:

Zetasizer Nano ZS (Malvern) includes two measurement techniques. Photon correlation spectroscopy is a method for determination of the particle size in the nanometer range (0.6 nm - 6 μm). Laser Doppler electrophoresis is a method for the determination of the zeta potential of particles. The device is used for the characterization of nanodelivery systems.
