Photon correlation spectroscopy and laser Doppler electrophoresis (Zetasizer Ultra)

Access:

Equipment is available at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Aškerčeva 7, 1000 Ljubljana. Public access to the equipment is not forseen. In any case one has to agree the details of an eventual access with its superviser which has to be present through whole agreed working time on the equipment.

Intended Purpose:

Zetasizer Ultra (Malvern Panalytical) is a system for the measurement of particle size (1 nm to 10 m), particle charge (zeta potential) and particle concentration. MADLS (Multi-Angle Dynamic Light Scattering) permits a higher resolution view into sample's size distribution and also affords the ability to directly analyze particle concentration. The device is used for the characterization of protein formulations and nanodelivery systems.
