Žane Temova Rakuša received her master's degree in pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy in Ljubljana in 2015. Her master thesis, entitled "Evaluation of the stability of vitamin D3 in solutions of food supplements and drugs using the method of high-performance liquid chromatography", was prepared under the mentorship of prof. dr. Robert Roškar and was awarded a Faculty Prešeren Award in 2016. In 2015, she became a young researcher at the Department of Biopharmacy and Pharmacokinetics and enrolled in doctoral studies in Biomedicine. She completed her doctorate in 2021 with a doctoral thesis entitled "Development of stability-indicative analytical methods for evaluating the stability of hydrophilic and lipophilic vitamins and planning their stabilization", under the mentorship of prof. dr. Robert Roškar and co-mentorship of prof. dr. Albin Kristl. During her doctoral studies, she received the Dean's Award for outstanding research achievements in 2020. Her doctoral dissertation was awarded the Grand Krka Prize for Special Achievements in Research in 2021. Žane Temova Rakuša is currently employed as an assistant at the Department of Biopharmacy and Pharmacokinetics. She researches in the field of analytics, stability, and quality control of medicines, food supplements, cosmetics, and food products. Pedagogically she participates in practicals within the subjects Drug Stability (EM FAR and S2 INF) and Packaging and Stability (S1 KOZ).
