I studied Uniform master’s study programme Pharmacy at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of pharmacy, after graduating at First High School in Celje. During my study I was an Erasmus exchange student at the University of Regensburg, Faculty of Pharmacy, where I did part of my study, including experimental part of my master thesis. After graduating in 2010, I became Young researcher and in 2014 an assisstant at Faculty of pharmacy in Ljubljana. I lead students through experimental courses of pharmacognosy, diploma and master theses. In 2015, I finished my PhD under supervision of prof. Samo Kreft, PhD and assoc. prof. Damjan Janeš, PhD and received Krka award for special achievements. My research is in the area of pharmacognosy and phytochemistry, particulary isolation, separation and identification of compounds from natural sources. Currently, I am mostly focused on research of cannabis plant (Cannabis sativa L) and cannabinoids, including regulation and product development. |
