Ana Dolšak enrolled at Faculty of Pharmacy in 2012 and successfully graduated under supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Matej Sova in 2017 with thesis "Design, synthesis and evaluation of inhibitors of monoamine oxidases A and B with 1-(prop-2-yn-1-yl)piperidine scaffold". In the same year she started her postgraduate studies (direction Biomedicine) under supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Matej Sova and has been employed as a young researcher at The Chair of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Her field of research is development of novel small molecule immunomodulators targeting Toll-like receptors and Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase as potential drugs for the treatment of cancer. Her pedagogic work includes experimental practice of Medicinal Chemistry II.
