Twinnet student exchange: Besançon, March 2019

From 6th to 10th March members of Students' Section of Slovenian Pharmaceutical Society attended the first part of the Twinnet exchange, which was hosted by pharmacy students from Besancon in France. With a warm welcome they invited us to their homes and in five days showed us everything we need to know about their city and culture. In the morning we had educational programme and soft skills trainings, later it was time for city tours and different activities. We ended our days with playing board games and hanging out with each other. We are already looking forward to the second part of the exchange (9th to 13th April), when our Twins come to visit us in Ljubljana.

Twinnet is a project, which encourages student mobility. Every student from the Faculty of Pharmacy can apply to participate. It is a short exchange, which includes educational and social programme. Former consist of lectures on a certain topic and soft skills trainings, which are really useful in every day routine. Often, the exchange takes place in two or three countries for approximately six days.

The aim is to connect youth from different countries, to learn foreign languages, see how their educational programme works, etc. The costs of this exchange aim to be as low as possible. At the end, each participant gets a certificate.
