System for electrostatic spinning of nanofibers

Equipment is available at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Aškerčeva 7, 1000 Ljubljana Public access to the equipment is not forseen. In any case one has to agree the details of an eventual access with its superviser which has to be present through whole agreed working time on the equipment.

Intended Purpose:

Process equipment is intended for electrostatic spraying of microparticles and nanoparticles as well as for electrostatic spinning of nanofibers. The process chamber of the equiopment is enclosed and separated form the surroundings during operation. Active ventilation of the process chamber enables safe work with organic solvents. The device has an air conditioning module that enables control of temperature (17-45°C) and relative humidity (25-75%) of the process air. Video monitoring system enables easy optimisation of electrostatic spraying or spinning. The equoment enables recording of video and process parameters to an externally connected copmuter. Special accessory enables spraying through multiple nozzles in parallel.
