BioCamp is traditional international event, which is organized in Novartis in Slovenia. The event brings together top university students from science, business and technical sciences who are interested in pursuing a career in pharmaceutical industry. University students in the natural, economics and technical sciences, from last year’s undergraduate, master’s, doctoral and post-doctoral study programs, are invited to apply for the BioCamp 2021.

The mobility under this call can be performed between 1 June 2021 and at the latest till 30 September 2022. Students who want to participate in mobility abroad as Erasmus+ students should fill out an online application form in VIS system and submit it by 7 March 2021 also in paper to the Student office – Mateja Tercic. There are some additional criteria (New selective measures have to be taken into account. Also a list of extra-curriciular activities of the student are part of the mandatory papers. EAFP is supporting the European Pharmaceutical Students Association (EPSA) in motivating pharmacy students to recognise the value of dissemination of scientific findings. Please find published information from EPSA regarding the invitation to pharmacy students to submit their work to the EPSA Students Science Publication.

Until and including 23 March 2020 or until this decision is revoked, all forms of direct instruction (classes) are cancelled and personal contact is to be limited in all other activities (where possible). Other forms of communication are to be used instead (email, video conferences, online meetings, telephones, etc.). Contacts between employees and students and external associates are to be limited as much as possible.

After considering the possible risks of the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infections the temporary measures were taken at UL FFA, aiming at protecting workers and students and are in accordance with the UL guidelines. On 6th of March began our first part of Twinnet exchange with France. There were nine participants from each country. Our Twins from Besançon kindly welcomed us to their homes and introduced us to everything we need to know about France and their culture. The topic of the educational programme was ‘’Sports and health’’. Furthermore, there was also an EPSA training about stress, which we all enjoyed. The overall experience was great; we made some new friends, learned French and had lots of fun. We cannot wait to host the second part of Twinnet in Ljubljana and to see our Twins again.
